BASTELICA AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
Our guest rooms and restaurant are located in the village of Bastelica, a small mountain village perched at an altitude of 800 metres in the Prunelli valley. The village occupies a privileged position, at the foot of many mountains, of the Val d’Esi plateau – very popular as a ski resort in winter – only a few kilometres from the Tolla lake where it is good to spend an afternoon with the family on a pedalo or a kayak, but also not far from the beaches, it is the ideal place for your holidays. It combines peace and quiet, various activities (hiking, skiing, horse riding, electric mountain biking, water sports, rivers…) and fresh air.
It is also interesting to stroll through the streets of the village, which has a strong history thanks to Sampieru Corsu, where a monumental bronze statue, the work of the sculptor Vital-Dubray, was inaugurated in September 1890 by Monseigneur De la Foata, Bishop of Corsica.
You will also see its beautiful medieval granite houses, its bread ovens as well as wash houses and fountains along its countless streets.
Bastelica is also lucky enough to have many traders, breeders and craftsmen, in short… everything is there to make your stay a pleasant one.
